Chapter 6

  • Meanwhile Emma, felt a strange sensation in her body since she approached the entrance of the castle, for being aware of her brother Nick, only seven years old, she did not hide her scent, her mother before being an assassin taught her sister Ashley and her to block it and control their desire to be with their mates, for having blood of the two enemy territories, they wanted to prevent their mates from wanting them to be subdued, they did not want to be controlled by a macho wolf that does not allow them to be free.
  • Emma slyly whispered to her sister. "I already found my mate, he's close to us and I couldn't hide my scent in time, I just blocked my scent and his scent from stunning me."
  • Ashley astonished, she mumbles to him so no one will hear. "Emma how could you have missed it, in the morning when I was told of the presence of the knights and warriors from other clans in the castle, I performed the process as our mother taught us, I am too young for me to appear and get away from you."
  • "I swore on the tomb of our parents to protect you and more to little Nick, nothing and no one will separate me from you, Blue put her to sleep she did not notice your presence, stay with Nick I'm going to get away for a while," says Emma while she is taking a few steps to run away from there, suddenly she hears when they say her name.
  • Alan with dissimulation looks back, he smiled when he understood my friend's face, while the young lady in question was trying to get away, with a strong voice he says. "Evander, meet Emma Sallow of Facton of the Blacach clan."
  • Emma puzzled, she didn't know which way to look she wanted to run away. "Sorry sir I wasn't paying attention to your conversations" she apologized as she grabbed my brother by the hand and placed him behind me.
  • Sara noticing his reaction and seeing that he wanted to run away, grabbed her by the hand. "Relax Emma, we understand Nick was getting your attention."
  • Evander hadn't been able to look away from that woman, feeling her scent foaming didn't please me at all, even if I didn't smell her I knew she was my mate.
  • With feigned indifference I looked at her, she was as tall and stylish as Sara, her spectacular curly hair was so black that it almost seemed blue, her challenging blue eyes captivated him in a few moments, but her mouth, by the goddess moon, that mouth! I feel a shiver as I wanted to take those lips and kiss them until they disappeared, he thought, - this sensation cannot be stronger than me, - at my thirty-five years, the most daring women looked at me with a face of desire, in all the lands of the North I was known for my reputation as a womanizer.
  • For her part, Emma had noticed how that warrior was looking at her, penetrating her with his intense green eyes, with dissimulation I observe his figure, he was a man of almost two meters, light brown hair and a powerful muscular, that moves me the floor.
  • Sara bends down making Nick step out of Emma's skirts. "Let's see, what's the matter with you, why did you make such a fuss?"
  • Little Nick comes out behind his sister, you could see in his eyes how upset he was and grunting he says. "I want to go see the traders who came to the village, but she as usual won't let me."
  • Alan approaches Nick and getting also on his level says. "Why won't you let her?"
  • Evander sees her who selflessly pulled her hair back from her face, a gesture I loved and also knowing that that blond boy was not her son.
  • Emma forgot about that warrior and replies. "My lord, I have told you not to be impatient, later, I will take you."
  • Nick Trying to get away from his sister, which she wouldn't let him do, shouting angrily. "No fair, I want to go with the other boys, not with my grumpy sisters."
  • Emma feels when Nick stomps on her foot, she stares at him enduring the pain and with her gaze tells him. I'm going to kill you.
  • Evander watches the scene amused, immersed in thought he says to himself. This woman has character.
  • Alan smiling and looking at Emma says. "Someday you have to start trusting him."
  • Sara looking at the boy says. "You should promise your sister you'll be good."
  • Emma gives Nick a little smack upside the head which makes those present laugh. "My lord when this boy stops getting into trouble, I will be the happiest sister in the world, but every time he runs away or we lose sight of him he gets up to his mischief."
  • Alan looks at the boy whom he knows very well. "The truth, Nick is that your sister is right, therefore, you are going to wait at home until one of your relatives can accompany you, and this is an order."
  • Emma looking at her sister says. "You go right now with Ashley, don't move from there until I get there."
  • Nick moves a few inches away from Emma to stick his tongue out at her, when he notices her trying to grab him he takes off running, behind him comes Ashley running as well to catch up to him.
  • Sara watches them walk away, then looks at those present to say, "Let's move to the dining room I'm convinced these warriors are thirsty and starving." then turns to Emma to say. "Let Lina and Maria know that we need roast, beer and wine in abundance."
  • Emma wanting to bolt out of the castle, sighs to say. "Yes my lady, I already inform them to have everything ready in the dining room." She rushes off to the castle kitchen.
  • Leno has not stopped watching his friend, who has his eyes fixed on the girl with an amused voice says. "The lone wolf has been conquered, that I hear is your heart unbridled by that pretty girl."
  • Evander looks at his friend seriously, in a husky voice he says. "What nonsense are you talking, my heart only beats unbridled when I'm at war, that you don't forget that".
  • Leno suppressing a smile, patted his back, as he joined them Bruno continued on their way entering the castle.
  • That afternoon, Evander, Alan and some of the men were out on their horses touring the area, Alan wanted to show his friends the progress on the retaining walls he was making around the herd.
