Chapter 11

• While I was working, I couldn't stop thinking about what Grace had said. Maybe I could give it a try, after all, I wouldn't be hurting anyone. I bit my lower lip and took out my phone from my bag. I searched for his number and stared at it for a moment, unsure whether to call him or not.
• "This is so hard," I said to myself.
• I took a deep breath, closed my eyes for a moment, opened them again, and looked at his number. I pressed the call button and waited until he answered. I stayed silent for a moment; I was already regretting it and I hadn't even proposed anything to him yet.
