• That morning was filled with grief as the Assassins buried their families and comrades on Earth. Though Aamon and his fellow Assassins showed no emotion, Red knew it was painful for them. Even Sethi, who was usually annoying, was not acting at all.
• Everyone in the building was still on guard and looked worried. Red waited for the assassins to finish the burial, which they did in one of the fields—originally a park. The girl sat next to Kit, whose fever still hadn't subsided. Kit woke up briefly and asked for a drink but fell asleep again.
