• Red groaned as she began to regain consciousness. Her head felt heavy, and her breathing was heavy—something was blocking her head. As Red touched her head, she realized she was wearing a helmet.
• A repeated announcement echoed, "All pilots stand by. All ships will be ready to launch in 3 minutes," bringing her fully awake. Red was startled to find herself inside an aircraft with the control panel in front of her. Looking behind her, she noticed a co-pilot sitting there.
• Because of the helmet, she couldn't see who was behind her. Red immediately tapped on the partition between them.
