Chapter 42 Fiona's Offer

• Red was out of breath as soon as she reached Kit's workshop, she had walked a long way to get there. There was no transportation that Red could use. But on the way to the workshop, she saw that some people had boards that could float three to forty centimeters high. The board followed where the owner went. Those with Equus were also scattered everywhere. The people who rode them looked much more confident and, well, arrogant. Who knew where they bought them, and it seemed like most of them could buy things after getting a special medal from Viz.
• Then another Equus caught Red's eye as she entered the courtyard of Kit's workshop. The owner was probably at her friend's workshop, so the equus waited outside the fence. The two Troy figures just looked at Red without asking anything. Just as Red was about to open the door, the door was suddenly pushed from the inside and Red collided with someone.
• They both fell down, tripping over each other. Red was surprised to see Fiona on top of her, and so was Fiona.
