Chapter 48 Leave

• Zyra patiently waited for Marcus to come out of the bathroom. She needed to speak with him and uncover what he was keeping from her. Now that they were mates, she believed there should be no secrets between them.
• She sat still until he emerged, surprised to see her waiting. He sighed and made his way to get his clothes, but she spread her hands on the bed and tilted her head, calling out, “Marcus?”
• He heaved a sigh, replying, “Not now, Zyra.”
