• At Alpha Marcus's pack, he stepped out of the room, Zyra’s hand firmly clasped in his. Although Zyra was eager to learn more about him, she knew now wasn’t the time. As they made their way down the hallway to join the rest of the pack members, Zyra nervously folded her lips into her mouth. Suddenly, Lily approached them with a pouty expression.
• “Please don’t tell me you’re leaving with her already. You guys just got here,” Lily whined, making Marcus roll his eyes.
• “No, we’re not leaving. She has some training to do. We need to prepare Zyra for what’s coming, and she needs to discover more about herself,” he replied, his tone serious. They nodded in understanding.
