Chapter 38 Impudence
- Upon Zachary and the others' departure, Shadow-One arrived at the villa by car. To his surprise, he found the main gate wide open. Something was clearly wrong. As he entered, he felt a sense of unease. The flower had been thrown on the floor and someone had even stepped on it. His heart filled with a sense of impending doom as he hurried upstairs to search for Viviana.
- After thoroughly searching the entire place, his urgency reached an unimaginable level. She was nowhere to be found. Not upstairs. Not in the garden outside. Not anywhere. Shadow-One grew even more worried. He had searched every corner of the villa, but there was no sign of the girl. In other words, Viviana had disappeared right after Zachary left.
- Picking up the flower from the ground, Shadow-One trembled with ice-cold killing intent in his eyes. It was unlikely that Viviana would leave the flower on the floor like this, which meant she must have encountered trouble. And the time between him receiving the call and arriving here couldn't have been more than five minutes. This also meant that Viviana disappeared right after Zachary left.
