Chapter 124 Explosion
- Kaden's gaze turned icy as he looked up at Zachary, undeterred by his broken leg. He was convinced that Zachary's ruthless act would not go unpunished. Then, he cursed, "I'll be waiting for you in hell, you bastard! I'll be waiting!"
- With a fleeting glance, Zachary noticed the trembling woman huddled in a corner and said softly, "You should go. Things might get quite messy later on."
- The woman's body froze, and her gaze shifted toward him, then down at Kaden's anguished figure writhing on the ground. After a moment of silence, her words came out slowly. "Sir, I... I want to... Kill him myself." Her words emerged in painful stutters, her voice hoarse and strained, as if each syllable exacted a heavy toll on her. Zachary’s face contorted with a frown, perplexed by the woman's peculiar response. Undeterred, she calmly opened her mouth, gesturing for him to look inside her throat. As he peered inside, a chill ran down his spine; the sight of her throat covered in eerie burn scars caused his eyes to harden with emotion.
