Chapter 8 Caught And Left Alone (Part 2)
- "Don't touch me." I slapped his hand gently when he tried to touch my shirt, a few of his other friends began laughing and making fun of me.
- "Oh come on, I just want---" he was about to touch me again when Dina saw all that from afar and rushed towards us.
- "Back off." she yelled, pushing him away from me. "is this why you brought us here?" she yelled at Tucker, who looked nervous, his eyes were watching Dina's face and the sadness on her face was bothering him and it was bothering me.
- "Dina, I didn't know he will----" Tucker tried to hold her hand, but she slapped it away. I would die for him to touch me, what was so special about Dina anyways? She was just a typical popular girl, why can't Tucker be this nice to me?
- "He is drunk too." Tucker glared at Ken, who apologetically lowered his eyes, Tucker wasn't concerned about me being hurt, but it was Dina's happiness he cared about.
- "Let's go, Elle." Dina turned around and reached for my hand, but in the moment of hate, I shrugged it off, but at the same time, Tucker held Dina's other hand and it all happened so quickly that nobody noticed me being rude to Dina except for Dina. She was too shocked to escape Tucker's grip.
- "Please, I wanna talk to you and after that, I will drop you both back home." Tucker was holding her hand and it was hurting me. I looked around and saw everyone looking at them and mentally yelling *couple goals*. I turned around and began walking away from all of this, exiting Ken's house, I stood a little away from the rush to inhale some fresh air. I saw Dina and Tucker leaving the house, our car was parked near the house while I was standing across the road since I wanted to be as far from the crowd as I could.
- I saw Tucker and Dina debating and it lasted for a few minutes and then sirens began to wail. My heart skipped a beat when all of a sudden, everyone started to run and escape the place. The neighbors must have called the cops, I tried to run towards Tucker and Dina, but the driver of the car that was parked on this side of the road kept pushing and hitting me in haste.
- "Tucker?" I yelled his name, wanting to get his attention as he quickly grabbed Dina's hand, who was looking around probably searching for me and pulled her inside the car.
- "Dina?" I shouted, shivering in panic. Tucker started the engine and soon escaped the scene. They left me alone, the cops were here and I was left all alone.
- I was sadly frozen on my spot when I should have been running like an athlete, but everything just shocked me and left me lifeless. I was watching the cop cars approaching with my eyes wide open and my mouth wide open. Tucker knew if he hadn't invited me, I would have never gone to the party, he knew I was new to this kind of environment, yet he left me behind.
- How does one feel when they think someone is going to be their biggest savior is nothing but fiction? I stayed frozen in my spot, even if I tried to run, there was no way I could outrun the cops. I watched the cop cars getting closer through my blurred sight as tears took over and then something happened. I was spooked at A loud mechanical whine taking over the sound of the cars as a motorbike's tire screeched through the pavement, it stopped...
- "Hop on." the guy, who was wearing a big black shining helmet, turned around and ordered in his husky voice. There was no time for an introduction, I had to do whatever I can to save my prestige. I can't lose both my boyfriend from my dreams and my reputation on the same night. I jumped on the back of his bike and he drove off quickly. The gust of wind blowing my hair back and my eyes close in the pressure of air. It was my first time on the bike, wow if only someone sees me right now, wait for what?
- "STOP! STOP!" I yelled, getting the attention of the boy who was taking me somewhere, he halted the bike once I began to cause inconvenience. Jumping off the bike, I swirled to look his way.
- "Where are you taking me?" I shouted, trembling, and taking steps back from him. He got off the bike and with the help of one hand he took off his helmet. My eyes widened to see Mr. Steven Lock is standing in front of me. No one has had the pleasure of talking to him before, I'm saying this because he was considered the hottest and mysterious hunk of our school, but his attempts of keeping himself isolated from everyone have made everyone forget about him.
- Also, his involvement with the group of bullies was the reason he was nameless now.
- He had no friends, the only mates he had were dealers of drugs and alcohol, that's what I have heard about him, that's what Tucker and his friends had told everyone about him.
