Chapter 32

• I straightened out my dress again as I waited nervously behind the large doors. I had spent the last three hours with the maids getting ready for the ball and the outcome was marvelous.
• The trumpet sounded and the large doors were thrown open. I took in a deep breath to calm my nerves and pit a smile on my face and entered the ball room.
• A loud chorus of 'all hail the queen' was heard before they dropped to their knees. I looked up at Thane seated in all his glory on his throne. I held his eyes as I walked down to him.
