Chapter 18

• I woke up feeling exhausted. There was a mild burning between my legs and if it wasn't quenched, it would turn into an inferno. I reached for Thane but his spot was empty. I felt guilty for keeping him awake all through the night.
• I woke up with intense burnings between my legs during the night and he helped me relieve my ache each time I reached for him.
• He stepped out of the bathroom, a towel hung low on his hips. I licked my lips unconsciously and let out a low moan. His nostrils flared as he took in my scent. He got into bed and I reached for him. He placed me on his laps and caressed my hair. I purred and leaned into his chest, flicking his nipple with my tongue. He groaned lowly and squeezed my waist. I felt the pinch of a needle on my hands and tensed.
