• My head was aching, and my ears were ringing. I started to move my head slowly. It was still a pain to move. I could hear the voices of someone talking, but not too clearly. I opened my eyes just to shut them back down due to the sun sipping in. I took in a deep breath before opening it again, looking around the room, trying to figure out where I was.
• The image of the accident replayed in my head. I immediately placed my hand on my tummy. I looked to my side to see Giovanni's familiar dark hair, which seemed to have grown on the bed beside me, while his body was on a chair. He looked fast asleep.
