Chapter 51 I Don't Care About This Bit of Money

• Denise looked up at the door to the conference room.
• It was Catherine and Zoe who showed up at the door. Catherine was already in her forties, but she looked well-preserved and still attractive. She was dressed in a close-fitting purple dress, which made her seem noble and elegant. At this moment, however, her face was ablaze with anger.
• Alex hadn't come home last night, so Zoe made breakfast and brought it to him early in the morning, only to come back with reddened eyes. She aggrievedly told Catherine that she'd delivered him breakfast, only for Denise to push her over and say a lot of nasty stuff, knocking over the breakfast in the process. Not only that, but Alex had injured himself by shielding Denise from a knife.
