• A loud belch escaped Mason’s lips as he dumped the finished bottle of whiskey to the ground. His companion since the past months has been several brands of alcohol. His mind was fogged, and he doubted anything and anyone aside Lisa can make him come out of the dark hole he is in.
• Knowing Lisa has never left the confines of her primary environment, he couldn’t think of any other place that she might possibly be. Mason felt a bit confident that she might get over her anger in a few days and return to her daily life. But to his surprise, Lisa didn’t return to her workplace or her apartment.
