Chapter 104

• Like a drunk fellow, Lisa struggled to get to her apartment. She felt extremely grateful that Amber wasn’t in the house. She had no strength to explain why her face was puffed and red like she had been crying for hours.
• In her devastated state, she forgot to tell the cab driver her exact destination, and the old man was forced to park on the side of the road for her to get herself together before the journey continued to the actual destination.
• Her world seemed to be spinning around her. She felt bad for slapping him, the hurt in his eyes made something inside of her twitch. But Lisa knew it was for the best. She has to choose herself. She checked the time and let out a string of curse words. They appear to be her newest companion, easily taking the stage of her expressiveness.
