• That weekend I made sure that Lisa spent the day at my place. I found it quite easy to act like I knew nothing as I waited for Saturday. I saw the delivery vehicle pulling up outside the apartment and it was on time. I went to the back of the house and let Lisa receive the package after all it was in her name.
• She signed for the package and I came out to see her receive the box. I asked who it was from and she said she didn’t know. I surreptitiously took out the burner phone from my pocket and sent her a text.
