Chapter 26

• *Sierra*
• Tuesday morning found me at work. I had an hour of peace and quiet to myself before Lisa showed up. She tried to be friendly with me but I brushed her advances aside keeping it professional. A part of me was curious and wanted to ask her about Mark, how he was doing and why the two weren’t together.
• Another thought crossed my mind, maybe they were still together and Mark was also in the city. I just hope that is not the case. I fought down the urge to ask her these questions because at the end of the day a small part of me still wanted to view her as my friend.
