Chapter 15

• *Jayden*
• The alarm clock beeped three. I turned in my bed feeling sleepless before getting up. I walked down the hallway and went into Brian’s room where he was sleeping peacefully. I got home in time to tuck him in. It was a Friday night so his bedtime was eleven but he was busy working on a school project and he had finished it before time.
• When I tucked him in, we went through the usual charade of talking about school and what new thing he discovered or experienced today. The previous night he had mentioned his experience with Sierra and when he spoke it brought joy to his little face. Today the light wasn’t there and it didn’t require rocket science for me to find out. However I wanted to be sure and that’s why I had a small plan in mind that I would execute when the sun rose.
