Chapter 48 The Right Feeling

• I watch her glistening naked body sprawled on my bed and I smile. She’s absolutely spent and her eyes are closing. Gently, I pick her up with ease and lay her head against the pillow. Pulling the duvet over our bodies, I slide next to her and wrap her in my arms. My nose delves into the crook of her neck and I inhale her intoxicating scent. She smells amazing and my heart swells in response.
• It feels indescribably good to be here with her. Every inch of my fiber knows it. It feels absolutely right, like this is how it should’ve been since a long time ago. And my only regret is that I’ve waited this long, wasted so much time when the one for me is here all along.
