Chapter 5 Was It Just An Act?
- "Which one is correct?" Grandma asked, confused.
- "Both are correct, Grandma," answered Harry with a smile.
- "Actually, our relationship has been going on for 6 months, but we only started planning to take it to a serious level for 3 months."
- Grandma nodded, understanding the man's explanation.
- "Oh, God!, luckily Harry is smart, otherwise he wouldn't have been caught," Anna muttered in her heart.
- "But, why didn't you ever tell me, Anna?" Grandma asked, looking at Anna.
- "This ... actually, I was planning to surprise Grandma, but yesterday, you insisted that I got confused and forgot to tell you."
- "If you had told me frankly yesterday, I wouldn't have forced you."
- "Yes Grandma, I was wrong, I'm sorry."
- "Okay, then I have to go home immediately to arrange your wedding." Grandma tries to get up.
- "What?" Anna shocked.
- "Grandma ... Grandma, calm down, oke; we're not in a rush. We will postpone our wedding because, in the near future, Harry will be going abroad on business."
- Grandma was silent; she looked at Harry as if asking for an explanation.
- "That's right, Grandma," said Harry, nodding.
- "Then, you must register your marriage first. The reception will be later so that you can go together."
- Harry and Anna looked at each other, listening to the grandmother's suggestion. Even Anna panicked a little because she didn't expect her Grandma to suggest this.
- "Sorry, Grandma, I can't go abroad with Harry. I also have work I need to finish." Anna Said.
- "Are you sure you want to have a long-distance relationship? The temptation is very heavy, especially since Harry is still young, handsome and an executive; there will definitely be lots of women there who will tease him, and you will be hurt," said the grandmother frankly. After all, Grandma understood the social circle of businessmen because she had been a businesswoman since she was young.
- "Grandma, I believe Harry," said Anna.
- "That's right, Grandma. I won't betray Anna, don't worry, okay?"
- "Can your words be trusted?" Granny looked into Harry's eyes as if she wanted to skin him and see the young man's sincerity.
- "You can take my word for it, Grandma. I guarantee my dignity, that I will never hurt Anna," Harry said firmly and convincingly. The ripples on her face were full of seriousness, making Anna shudder. Aren't they just pretending, but why does Harry look so serious?
- Harry looked at Anna, who was nervous and dizzy. So, the man smiled. "Anna and I have something to do. Can I take Anna out, Grandma?"
- "Oh yes, go. Let Anna's Mom accompany me here."
- "Okay, Grandma, then I'll go first. You don't think too much about all kinds of things, okay?"
- Anna and Harry said their goodbyes to both of the women, then left hand in hand.
- Seeing the intimacy, Grandma breathed a sigh of relief. "Finally, Anna found a suitable and good partner."
- "Are you sure Harry is a good man?" Anna's mother asked her Mom.
- "Very confident," Grandma said.
- "But, previously, you also said that Ardi was a good man for Anna, but it was discovered that his behaviour wasn't good, right?" quipped Mom.
- Grandma glanced at Mom while pouting. "That's different. Actually, I don't really know Ardi either, just a recommendation from a friend. "But Harry, he was Anna's own choice, and I can see the sincerity in his eyes," stressed Grandma.
- "Hopefully so. We as parents can only hope for the best." Mom chimed in. Meanwhile, Anna immediately breathed a sigh of relief after leaving the hospital. He thought about Harry's reaction earlier like he wasn't pretending.
- "Why, Anna? Flustered?" He asked, seeing Anna, who still looked dazed.
- "Harry, you've had acting training, haven't you?"
- "Hahaha, why? Reassuring, right?"
- "Yep, like it's no longer pretending," Anna said.
- "You designed the game yourself, but you can't act. That sucks, Anna," Harry replied casually.
- "You know, I ... can't lie to grandma."
- "You think I like lying?" Harry replied sharply, "Especially with parents!"
- Anna was shocked. Apparently, Harry was also angry and depressed.
- "Honestly, Anna, I can't bear to see Grandma's condition. I really respect and appreciate parents like her. I also had a Granny, and my Granny raised me. They will definitely be hurt if they find out they have been lied to."
- Both of them fell silent. What Harry said was true, but Anna was completely helpless.
- "I'm sorry, Harry."
- "Think of a way to resolve this pretense, don't involve me in hurting Grandma too much."
- Both of them fell silent anymore. In fact, during the journey to Harry's house. Anna suddenly felt helpless. 'How, how do I end this fake relationship without making grandma sick?'

- Amelia was very happy to see Anna's arrival; the little girl became very busy. He invited Anna around the mansion.
- Harry had never seen his daughter so happy, as if she had gotten something she had longed for.
- "How was school, dear?" Anna asked.
- "It's normal, school isn't fun, it's boring," Amel answered flatly.
- "Oh, yes? So if I accompany you tomorrow, how about it?"
- "Really, Anna?"
- "Humm," Anna said, nodding her head
- "Wow, that would definitely be fun."
- Harry watched his daughter, unconsciously shaking his head. So far, Amelia has been difficult to persuade, but she is surprised that Anna, whom she has only known for a long time, is already so attached.
- Anna was at Harry's house for quite a long time to accompany Amelia to play and study. When she returned that evening, Harry took her home.
- "Seriously, are you going to accompany Amelia to school tomorrow, Anna?"
- "Yes, I want to know, so when you leave, I have to look after Amelia, so I have to know everything about her, including her school environment."
- "Well, you don't have to look after it 24 hours either, Anna. I want Amelia to be independent, and I've been slowly training her, but sometimes there are roles that I can't play, so I can only give her understanding slowly." Harry seemed to be talking to himself; helplessness flashed there.
- "Sorry, Harry. Why don't you get married again so Amelia can have a mother?"
- "Married again?" Harry smiled mysteriously.
