Chapter 1 Speed and Passion

• "Been travelling for two and a half years and now my home is gone!
• "This is the place where I've lived for most of my life, now I need to buy a ticket to get in?
• "Godd*mmit, who the hell did this? This is outrageous, these idiots!
• "Oh god, come and strike these b*stards dead ... "
• On the mountaintop, in front of Aetherbliss, stood the master and his apprentice. The seventy-something-year-old master raging furiously.
• After cursing for over three hours, he finally got tired and turned to Ethan Bennett.
• "You see what's happened, kid. The house is gone, and those idiots wrecked the Pure Lotus Array, so we can't extend your life anymore.
• "Hurry down the mountain to find the pure form to extend your life. Keep in mind, even though you are now a master of medicine and martial arts, and even better at geomancy than me, if you don't find the person with pure form, you won't live more than a year.
• "Also, after you go down the mountain, make sure to find your seven seniors. They're tied to the Pure Lotus Array. If needed, use your celestial youth powers to save them.
• "And there's this group that's been after me for years. If you get the chance, take them down. This ring is your token. Just don't end up like me; without power or influence, can't even protect my home.
• "When you leave the mountain, find out who stole our house and caused all this trouble. Give them a good beating!
• "Lastly, I set up a marriage contract for you a few years ago. Remember to go to the Lewises in Emberhold to fulfil it."
• After explaining everything, the master shoved Ethan down the mountain. Then he continued cursing and started his works.
• Ethan had no choice but to go down the mountain.
• He had been weak and sickly since he was little, and doctors said he wouldn't live past a hundred days.
• His master took him up the mountain, and his seven senior sisters took turns caring for him day and night, ultimately saving his life.
• Now that his seniors were in trouble, he couldn't just stand by and do nothing.
• Boom!
• All of a sudden, there was a loud explosion at the foot of Serenity Peaks. Ethan's eyebrows twitched, and he followed the sound.
• At the foot of Serenity Peaks, next to the road, a burning Hummer lay on its side with two bodies beside it.
• A big man, injured and holding a submachine gun, was wildly firing at a red Ferrari opposite him.
• Behind the Ferrari, two stunning women were hiding, too afraid to show themselves.
• It was clear that a scene from a movie had just unfolded here.
• The woman on the left was in her twenties, wearing a white dress.
• She had a delicate face with stunning beauty, long hair down to her waist, and a pear-shaped figure that was captivating.
• The woman on the right was around thirty and radiated irresistible charm.
• She was wearing a black skirt that accentuated her curves like a ripe peach, with a figure so alluring and mesmerising it left you feeling a bit flustered just looking at her.
• She's holding a small pistol, her eyes burning with intensity.
• Suddenly, the big guy behind the Hummer jumped up, yelling, "Go to hell!"
• Bam bam bam! He fired wildly from his submachine gun to keep the Ferrari's attackers at bay.
• The woman in black, peeking through a gap in the car, frowned deeply at the sight.
• If the big guy got close, the two helpless women were sure to be done for.
• "Leah, if anything happens to me, you must run!" the woman in black said firmly before bravely dashing out.
• "No, Aunt Penny ... " cried the girl called Leah in a panicked shout.
• But it was too late. The woman in black had just rushed out and got shot in the thigh.
• Despite the pain, her face remained resolute. In a split second, she shot the big guy straight in the forehead, taking him down.
• Bang!
• However, the woman in black also staggered and fell to the ground, her face twisted in agony.
• "Aunt Penny!" Leah rushed over nervously, trying to lift up Penny.
• "Don't move her!"
• But just then, Ethan rushed over and quickly stepped in.
• Penny King was startled and furious at the sudden arrival, aiming her gun at Ethan.
• "Are you also here on orders from the Kings in Brightvale to kill us?"
• She clenched her teeth, angry at their ruthless methods that spared not even innocent Leah!
• As her aunt, she had really let her down!
• "Don't shoot, I'm not with any Kings from Brightvale. I was just passing through. Your situation is really dangerous right now, every second counts. We need to act fast to get you treated ... "
• "Pff!"
• Before Ethan could finish his sentence, Penny spewed out a mouthful of blood, her aura quickly weakening.
• Her pretty face turned deathly pale and then rapidly darkened, clearly struggling to breathe.
• Without delay, Ethan rushed forward to support Penny, quickly tearing open her clothes to reveal a sight that was both tantalising and full of allure.
• What a beautiful scene!
• But Ethan seemed unfazed, his hands gathering true energy, ready to act.
• Leah King was livid, grabbing Ethan by the collar.
• "You jerk, what are you doing to my aunt?"
• Leah fiercely shielded her aunt.
• This guy in patched clothes, acting like an animal, taking advantage of someone's vulnerability, was just awful.
• "No time to waste, I'm trying to save your aunt. Don't hold me back. Another half minute and she'd be gone!"
• Ethan's life was saved by his master and senior sisters. Now that he had acquired skills, he naturally wanted to help others.
• "You d*mn pervert! My aunt's leg is injured, and you, you b*stard, tear her clothes off. You're shameless and won't even make an excuse ... "
• "You know what? The most life-threatening thing for your aunt right now is her heart condition. She's had it for at least fifteen years!"
• Ethan quickly pulled Leah's arm away and pressed his hand, filled with true energy, directly onto Penny's chest.
• The sudden tenderness melted Ethan's once-still heart, flowing through him like water.
• Even he couldn't resist the charm of a mature woman.
• "Ah ... "
• As Ethan's true energy surged into her, Penny finally caught her breath. The electric sensation running through her body made Penny unable to hold back a soft moan.
• That sound sent ripples through his heart and mind.
• At the same time, Leah's face flushed red with anger, her fury boiling over. She spun around and grabbed the pistol that had fallen to the ground.
• "My aunt never had a heart condition! You lying jerk, who do you think you're fooling? I'll shoot you!"
• Her aunt was hurt now, and she had to protect her. Even though her hands shook as she held the gun, her determination was evident.
• "Leah," Penny quickly spoke up.
• Leah clearly didn't know how to handle a gun, and Penny was genuinely worried she might accidentally shoot someone.
• "Put down the gun. I've had a heart condition all along, but I didn't want you to worry so I never told you. I'm feeling much better now, thanks to him," Penny said.
• "Really?" Leah looked at her aunt's flushed cheeks, sounding a bit sceptical.
• "Of course. I'm a decent guy," Ethan said, withdrawing his hand and then turning to Penny. "But I rushed down from the mountain without my needles. All I can do is help ease the pain.
• "And there's another important issue now. Your leg injury is serious. If we don't remove the bullet and stop the bleeding soon, your leg could be permanently damaged, or worse, you could bleed to death.
• With these words spoken, Leah grew increasingly anxious, especially since the bleeding was visibly alarming to her.
• "So what are you waiting for? Hurry up and save her."
• Penny also took a deep breath. "Please, sir."
• After all, besides Ethan, there was no one else who could save her now.
• Ethan waved his hand. "Forget it. I'm a gentleman, trying to help out of kindness almost got me killed. I can't risk it again."
• Upon hearing that, Leah rolled her eyes in frustration. But for her aunt's sake, she quickly set the gun down.
• "Sir, I misunderstood you earlier. You're a decent person, and I was wrong. I'm sorry. Please, I'm begging you, save my aunt."
• Ethan shrugged. "The conditions here aren't ideal. Doing a sterile procedure to remove the bullet requires proper tools. I have a way, but ... "
• "No 'buts'! If you have a way, please use it now. My aunt has lost a lot of blood!" Leah urged anxiously.
• Ethan sighed. "Well, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do."
• He bent down directly between Penny's legs.
• Crack!
• The black fabric was torn open.
• Out here in the wilds, to handle things right, he had to use his mouth to suck out the bullet.
• With his mouth surrounded by true energy, Ethan went in without hesitation.
• With a strong pull, Penny grimaced in pain, her hands instinctively clutching Ethan's hair.
• "Ouch ... That hurts ... "
• Meanwhile, Leah stood frozen in place as if struck by lightning, staring blankly for several seconds. She felt completely numb all over.
• The next moment, she went berserk, trembling hands grabbing the gun from the ground while angrily spewing blood and curses.
• "I've been fooled by you, you b*stard! You claim to be a decent person, what a joke! I believed your lies, I swear I'll kill you today!"
