Chapter 8 Selena

  • ~~SELENA~~
  • Two weeks passed since that incident with Cyrus, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled over me. He had distanced himself again, his gaze barely lingering on me at all, leaving me to wonder why he had even bothered in the first place.
  • Rolling my eyes in frustration at Reggie, who seemed to always have something to say about my choice of clothes, I muttered a curse under my breath before storming out of the room. Sometimes it felt like these boys didn't want me to breathe at all.
  • I knew today was going to be just as boring as usual, with only one class on my schedule. My parents had returned home from their trip and had mentioned having good news for us. It seemed a bit strange, but who doesn't want to hear good news? Maybe they were planning to ask my brothers to move out, which would honestly be the best news ever.
  • Exiting my car, I made my way towards the classroom, noticing that there weren't many people around. It was just going to be another ordinary day, it seemed.
  • As the professor concluded his lecture for the day, I gathered my belongings and prepared to leave. However, my movements halted abruptly when I noticed Eva approaching me.
  • "Not again," I murmured under my breath, scoffing at the sight of her.
  • "Hi," she said, her smile betraying a hint of nervousness.
  • "What?" I asked, my tone laced with annoyance as I regarded her.
  • She sighed, meeting my gaze with a solemn expression. "I'm really sorry, I swear," she began, her words sounding rehearsed.
  • "Good for you then," I replied curtly, attempting to walk away. But she moved to intercept me, her determination evident.
  • "I was stupid, and I admit it," she continued, her voice tinged with regret.
  • "Good for you," I repeated, my smile forced as I feigned indifference.
  • "Please, I really do need our friendship back," she pleaded, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. "I'm sorry for even liking your brother in the first place. I know you warned me that he just uses girls and dumps them, but I genuinely thought he liked me. I'm sorry for not telling you about it."
  • Her words hit me like a punch to the gut. I missed her too, more than I cared to admit. But what she had done was unforgivable. She had been sleeping with my brother, Ezra, for months, and I had been completely oblivious until I stumbled upon their texts. It shattered me, knowing that Ezra had used her just like he did with his other flings, and then discarded her without a second thought.
  • I knew that I had feelings for Cyrus, and Ezra was his best friend. I also knew that nothing would ever happen between us, so it was just a crush.
  • "Not now, Eva," I said firmly, brushing past her as I made my way out of the classroom.

  • My steps faltered as I exited the school building, my eyes drawn to Cyrus as he walked towards his car.
  • My heart pounded in my chest as I watched Cyrus climb into his car. I hesitated for a moment, debating whether to approach him, but I knew I had to seize the chance to talk to him. With a deep breath, I walked over to his car, my steps quickening with determination. When I reached his window, I tapped lightly, my hand trembling slightly. Cyrus glanced over and rolled down the window, his expression calm yet unreadable.
  • "Hey," I felt a surge of relief wash over me. At least he hadn't dismissed me outright. But as I stood there, searching for the right words, I couldn't shake the feeling of awkwardness that hung in the air between us.
  • " Hi" he said back, looking at me.
  • " So my car is having an issue," I blurted out, my words tumbling over each other in my haste. "I don't know if you could drive me home instead."
  • His response was a simple "Yeah," but it was enough to send a rush of gratitude flooding through me. I quickly slid into the passenger seat, trying to ignore the flutter of nerves in my stomach as Cyrus started the car and pulled away from the curb.
  • As we drove in silence, I racked my brain for something—anything—to say. I wanted desperately to break the tension that seemed to hang heavy in the air, but I couldn't find the right words.
  • Finally, unable to bear the silence any longer, I mustered up the courage to speak. "You had a class today?" I asked, my voice tentative.
  • He nodded, his eyes fixed on the road ahead. It was a small comfort to know that I wasn't the only one feeling awkward in this moment.
  • But as we continued our journey in silence, I couldn't shake the nagging feeling that there was something more I wanted to say. Something about the other day—about the way he had wiped away the Syrup from my face with his tongue.
  • I hesitated, unsure if I should broach the subject. After all, what if I was reading too much into it? What if it was just a simple act of kindness, with no deeper meaning behind it?
  • But I just couldn't let the opportunity pass me by. "Cyrus," I began, my voice barely above a whisper. "Can I ask you something?"
  • "Uh, yeah?" Cyrus responded, his attention shifting momentarily from the road to Me.
  • "Um, I was just wondering about the other day, you know, when you..." I began, my voice trailing off as my uncertainty crept in.Cyrus glanced at me, his attention diverted from the road.
  • "When I what?" he prompted, his brow furrowing slightly in confusion.
  • I struggled to find the right words, my thoughts jumbling together in my mind. "When you, um, wiped my face with your tongue... I mean, you didn't have to do that, you could have just told me, or I could have done it myself," I finally managed to blurt out, the words tumbling out in a rush.
  • As I sat there, his silence weighed heavy on my mind, leaving me to wonder what thoughts were swirling in his head.
  • Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath, berating myself for even bringing up the topic. I couldn't deny the flutter of excitement that surged through me at the memory of his touch the other day.
  • Suddenly, the car came to a halt, jolting me out of my thoughts. I opened my eyes to find us on an isolated road, far from the familiar surroundings of my home.
  • I felt him unbuckle his seat belt, his movements drawing my attention. Before I could react, I sensed him moving closer, his presence filling the small space between us.
  • "You didn't like it?" His voice was low, his gaze locking onto mine with an intensity that left me breathless.
  • "What—" I stammered, struggling to form coherent words in the face of his proximity.
  • "You didn't like when I did that to you?" His question hung in the air, the weight of it pressing down on me.
  • I was at a loss for words, caught off guard by the intensity of his inquiry. What was I supposed to say? Admit that I enjoyed it? Deny it altogether?
  • "Answer the question, Baby girl," he whispered, his voice sending shivers down my spine.
  • My heart raced as I stuttered out a hesitant, "Yes," unable to tear my gaze away from him. His smirk only widened, igniting a fire within me that I couldn't deny.
  • "Do you want more of that?" he asked, his hands tenderly tracing the contours of my flushed cheeks.
  • I nodded eagerly, my breath catching in my throat as he smirked in response. His thumb grazed my trembling lips, sending a jolt of electricity through me. His touch was gentle yet charged with a magnetic intensity that left me breathless.
  • "I want to hear you say it," he whispered, his voice sending shivers down my spine.
  • I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest as I struggled to find my voice. "Yes," I managed to rasp out, my cheeks burning with embarrassment.
  • His smirk widened into a full-fledged grin, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes. "Good," he murmured, his thumb tracing the curve of my lips. "Because I want to give you so much more."
  • Cyrus's lips crashed onto mine with a ferocity that left me gasping for air. His hands gripped my waist tightly, pulling me closer as he deepened the kiss.
  • I moaned softly as his tongue pushed its way into my mouth, exploring every inch with skillful precision. His touch was electric - every point where our skin met felt like it was on fire.
  • He pressed me back against the seat, pinning me there with his body as he devoured me hungrily. My own hands found their way to his hair, tugging at the strands as I tried to pull him even closer.
  • As we kissed, I could feel the tension building between us - something primal and wild that threatened to consume us both. Cyrus was dominant and in control, but I didn't mind - in fact, I craved it.
  • There was something about the way he took charge of the kiss that made me feel alive in a way I never had before. His hands moved from my waist to my hair, pulling it back roughly as he continued to ravage my mouth.
  • I could sense his desire and need for me, and it only fueled my own lust and hunger for him. My body responded to his touch with an intensity that left me breathless - every inch of skin tingled with pleasure as he explored me further.
  • Suddenly, he pulled away from the kiss, leaving me feeling dizzy and disoriented. But before I could even catch my breath, Cyrus was on top of me once again, assaulting me with another fierce kiss that sent shockwaves through my body.
  • As the kiss continued, I felt myself losing control - surrendering to Cyrus's lust and need for me. His hands roamed over my body, tracing every curve and contour with a hunger that left me trembling with desire. His lips trailed down my neck, leaving a trail of heated kisses in their wake. I moaned softly as he nipped at my earlobe, sending shivers down my spine.
