Chapter 18

• "Alright, cool." Dylan relaxed a little.
• The conversation didn't venture back to the topic of what had happened between Dylan, his girlfriend and Liam, save only a few jokes from Liam's side. Dylan was far too busy organising for the semester ahead, though that didn't seem to phase Liam so much. Liam had the luck of the draw of getting majority of his fees on a Monday, meaning he didn't have a single lecture or tutorial to attend. Naturally he was taking advantage of this by gloating to Dylan, who, like most med-students, had barely a few moments to rest between classes.
• After half an hour of catching up and unpacking, Liam decided to take a stroll around campus to catch up with some friends. But the pair had agreed they'd catch up for a drink at a nearby pub after Dylan's classes the next day. This no doubt would be to Jess's disliking, but Dylan was sure he could make her understand.
