Chapter 6 The Client Was Apparently Julia Thomas

• Jayden furrowed his brows, and his eyes slightly darkened.
• Mrs. Thomas was his cousin's wife.
• The Lawford's main company was in Dystron, as directed by their grandfather. The one located in Nexoria was a subsidiary of the main company. Three months ago, Julia brought her son to this Nexoria branch, expressing her desire for him to study within the company.
• They hadn't had any contact for years, nor had they met. It felt very strange for them to suddenly come seeking his help.
• They probably think it's impossible to get any help directly from their grandfather. Seeing that Jayden had recently gained much favor from his grandfather, they might want to use his influence to elevate their status.
• After helping them become part of the company, he went on a business trip and hadn't formally met them yet.
• "Okay, let her sketch," Jayden replied.

• He had forgotten to ask earlier which affluent family his wife came from. There didn't seem to be any family with the last name Willick in Nexoria, but he had heard of one in Dystron.

• Carol took a taxi to the address given by the customer.
• The taxi driver was talkative. Upon seeing the address provided by Carol, he initiated a conversation, saying, "Ah, are you heading to Hensea Group?"
• Carol was confused and asked, "Yes, is there anything wrong with that place?"
• "Hensea Group is a branch of the Lawford family's company in Dystron. Everyone in Nexoria knows about it. Are you working there? I heard it's difficult to get into that company..."

• Carol gathered her thoughts, paid the taxi fee, and got out of the car.
• Today, Carol came for an initial inspection. She would start designing after returning, so she didn't need to bring any tools.
• Carol had just imagined that she wouldn’t be afraid if she ran into David. However, she hadn't anticipated running into his mom, Julia!
• The unexpected encounter left Carol completely stunned.
• Standing beside Julia was Selly, dressed in a pure white dress, with a faint smile on her lips. Her hair cascaded behind her, and she wore delicate makeup, giving her a lovely appearance.
• Carol had a somewhat ominous feeling in her heart.
• She took out her phone to make a call to the client and saw Julia's phone ringing.
• The client she had an appointment with turned out to be Julia!
