• Sitting here with Dex I realize that this is it. This is the moment that everything has been leading up to. He wants me as much as I want him and he’s going to make a move. I need to tell him that I’ve never been with a man before but I’m afraid that my lack of experience will be a turn-off for him. He senses my hesitancy and gets the wrong idea. Now, I bet he thinks that I’m a tease. I have to tell him so I take a deep breath and just blurt it out, “I’m a virgin.”
• He looks at me with a jumbled expression of part confusion and part disbelief. My heart races as I wait for him to say something, anything but he gazes into my eyes and brushes his hand across my face saying nothing and I don’t know what to think.
