Chapter 8

• Victoria showed me a large part of the right wing of the castle and I admitted, it was impressive. There was a complete sports and fitness area in the basement of the right wing, equipped with a pool, sauna, gym and a training room for free use. In the central wing, the oldest part, there was a huge hall as well as a library and various reception and dining rooms, depending on the number of guests. There is also supposed to be a dungeon and an old armoury in the basement, which I declined to see.
• There are also supposed to be other buildings throughout the grounds for the staff, the other residents of the estate and so on. Due to the time of day, Victoria stopped her tour here and took me back to my room. There would be breakfast in an hour and I wanted to shower and change at least once.
• Back in my new realm, I noticed little details that I hadn't even realised at first. My book collection, which I had brought with me, was already neatly organised on a large shelf next to the desk. My CD collection was stored on a chest of drawers and a soundbar was placed right next to it for me to use. When I opened the doors of the chest of drawers, I found glasses and a mini fridge with various drinks. I wonder if I'll be charged for my consumption, like in a hotel?
