• Kian and Noah had been placed under surveillance and were currently staying in an unknown location outside the castle. I knew they weren't being treated badly, but I was still unsure whether their appearance here was really entirely unconnected to whoever was looking for me.
• I now had the feedback from the blood tests and was able to identify parts of the cocktail. I had also read the guard's diaries and provided the others with any useful information. Since then, I had been working non-stop every day on the formulae from the booklet that I had found. Something puzzled me relatively early on while I was working on it.
• All the components indicated that there were psychedelic elements, but the main ingredient in all the formulas has a sedative effect. I confronted the others with my suspicions after dinner, but only after Vici had left the room with Lucia.
