• AVA'S POV.
• “Nothing okay? He's out getting some stuff, settling the bills; he was really worried about you.” Maria responded while I shook my head slowly. I wasn't sure I was ready to meet with him yet, and now he helped me put my eyes back; although I reluctantly agreed to it, my heart was still against him. Now I owe him a huge favor.
• But it didn't make sense to me; of course we had sex once. It was a drunken mistake. And if anything at all, it certainly was not the way I had expected it to be. So why was it riling me up baselessly? It made me uncomfortable.
