• CORNELL's POV.
• “When will you be back?” Claire asked, climbing hard into my arms. I knew that was the hardest part of it all; the sex was fine, and everything else went well, but I still couldn't figure out what ladies wanted apart from attention.
• “I'll have some money wired into your account as well; you can go on a week's vacation to the Bahamas or anything you wish for.” I added in slowly. I was trying to soothe her feelings, but I saw from the frown, which was quick to etch onto her face. She wasn't interested in anything that I had to offer.
