• He opened the door to his condo and led me inside. The décor was modern and simple, with earthy browns and beiges mixed together for a cozy effect. There were two couches facing each other across from a large flat-screen television mounted on the wall . A table covered with magazines and newspapers sat in the corner next to a kitchenette and mini fridge. An open archway led into another room.
• "I'm glad you decided to come over," he said. "I hope you like my place ."
• I nodded. "It's nice. I've never been here before."
