Chapter 79 Didn't Disappoint

• I gazed out of the window of Clint's car, feeling a bit wistful. The car ride was slow, and none of us said a word to each other. The silence that hung above us, however, was not an uncomfortable one. It was quite soothing, and I did not mind that Clint had not said a word to me.
• The car came to a stop in front of the traffic light, and my eyes drifted away from the windows and towards Clint. To my surprise, his gaze was on me too. He had a hint of mischief in his eyes, and the corner of his lips was curled up into a smirk.
