Chapter 9 Time
- The dense air of the upstairs room seemed to suffocate Adriana as she sat on the edge of the bed, lost in her thoughts. She stared fixedly out the window, watching as the last rays of sunlight of the day slowly disappeared on the horizon. With each sunset, the day approached when she would have to let him go, and that filled her with sadness.
- Ever since Dante entered her life, Adriana had been captivated by his mystery and seduction. His dark, penetrating eyes hypnotized her, trapping her in a whirlwind of emotions she had never experienced before. But as time passed within his captivity, she also felt that Dante did not succumb to her seduction, which made her question her true power over him.
- Sadness overwhelmed Adriana as she realized that, despite her efforts and provocations, Dante remained distant. She knew she had fallen into his trap, and that she loved him and desired him passionately, but it seemed that he resisted completely giving in. Every time she got close to him, she could feel her heart racing and her body trembling with excitement, but there was also a constant feeling of frustration consuming her from within.
