Chapter 17 Mother

• Adriana woke up with contractions, but she was alone in bed and the room was closed. Desperate, she started banging on the door and yelling for Dante to hear her. She had lost track of time and space since she got pregnant. The night before, they had been having sex for several hours, and when she woke up, she realized she was alone.
• "CURSE YOU, DANTE, OPEN UP!" she screamed, pounding on the door with her palms while holding her belly. She had put on a shirt because she had woken up naked.
