Chapter 11 Reality

• FIVE MONTHS LATER
• Adriana was living in a small cottage with everything she needed, which she bought on the outskirts of Lucerne, a quaint and almost medieval village in Switzerland.
• At first, when she made the decision to leave Italy and try to leave the past behind, it had been incredibly difficult. She missed Dante, and despite her current situation, she found no solace. She tried to distract herself with work, but when she wasn't immersed in her activities, a deep sadness overwhelmed her. There was a pain and emptiness in her chest that made her cry herself to sleep. And when she woke up and realized that it wasn't a dream, nor a nightmare, that he was no longer in her life, she would cry all over again until she decided enough was enough and had to start with the day's activities.
