Chapter 45

• "Are you in a hurry, miss?" A young man appeared before me. His attire gives him off as a wealthy man. He came in smiling brightly, like he had met an old friend.
• "I am married, you dumbass. Mrs. and not Miss," I replied, trying again to climb the wall. I don't know why exactly I said that, but I guess because I was pissed.
• He shoved me down from where I wanted to climb and pinned me to the wall. He was impermissibly close, and I held my breath tight, avoiding his disappointingly beautiful scent.
