• Richard's POV
• The sound of my heart slamming hard against my rib cage was all I needed to know that everything was going haywire, but I had to stay sane just for Reina and my kids. My kids. I let out that air that was stuck, the bed dipping beside Reina when I sat on it.
• My hands ran unconsciously, mocking on her hair, as I stroked it gently. Her face was still. She looked just like an ethereal being, one that shouldn't have come down to earth. She wasn't supposed to go through this numerous stress that she had gone through, and I was the worst of them all, making her go through it.
