Chapter 42 Warmed In

• Reina's POV
• It was taking everything within me to sit up tight and plead with him not to come back. I knew already that what I had felt for him was different. So different that I wanted it to go on.
• When his hands had held mine, I knew I wasn't the only one who had felt that. How attracted I was to him. I listened, with my ears placed against the door, for his footsteps as it faded before walking back to the bed. It was going to be another sleepless night where I wouldn't get to see him.
