Chapter 104 Vengeful Wife

• I stood there dressed in black, watching as the coffin was lowered into the grave. I tried to cry, but the tears just wouldn’t come as I stood there, witnessing the burial of someone I had known my entire life, someone who felt more like a sister to me.
• Lily had no immediate family left, just a distant cousin and an aunt with whom she had little connection. So, Dominic and I made the decision to bury her; there was no point in keeping her remains. She was laid to rest beside her brother, Aiden.
