• The days following the arrival of the stalker's letter passed in a blur of anxiety and heightened security measures. Despite Ethan's reassurances and the increased pack patrols, I jumped at every shadow, every unexpected sound. The fear that had driven me from my old pack had followed me here, threatening to unravel the fragile sense of peace I'd begun to build.
