Chapter 22

• I close the door and place the bucket on the table.
• Gavin's jacket was tossed on the bed, and he was in the bathroom. I take off the blouse and the little skirt I was wearing, leaving only in my panties and bra. I put two ice cubes in one of the glasses and pour some whiskey. I sit on the bed and sip the liquid, until Gavin comes out of the bathroom wearing only his underwear.
• I offer him the glass while he smokes another cigarette.
