Chapter 81
- The familiar perfume that Daniella wore wafted up and I turned in surprise and happiness. She stood a little away, puffing away on a cigar, glaring at someone in the distance, and behind her, I could see Grace approaching. While Grace was wearing an open expression of joy at seeing me, Daniella seemed to be on her tough woman behavior this evening. But I knew it was an act. I loved to spend time with the two of them and I knew that Danielle looked out for me. She was as fiercely protective in her way but she hid it behind a Devil may care attitude.
