• Conrad knew he’s part of the problem now. Or maybe not. It was just the timing. They would’ve found her already if he hasn’t showed up and given her new potions. But now, instead of just her, they’re tracking the two of them. One slip and they’ll be both hunted. They might be tracing his movements and that’s how they found them.
• Hearing her sentiments, he has a vague idea on why she’s changing her mind. He felt warm inside just thinking about it. It’s because she cares about him, right? Suddenly, he felt that these injuries he sustained were worth it.
