Chapter 28 Gifts

• Alice heard his conversation that night and wondered what idea he got.
• She didn’t need to wait long before she learned the answer. He brought her flowers every day. He would eat meals at the restaurant during her shift. It’s a bit embarrassing but he would sometimes bring her snacks from other places. She refuses to eat with him, so this is the most he can do.
• At one point, she told him to stop. It’s disrupting her work. He only did when he heard her being scolded by a manager or something. He wanted to apologize, too, since it’s his fault, not hers. She glared at him when he walked her home and reminded him again to stop sending packages from other restaurants.
