Chapter 7 It Really Is Her

  • After Lizzie left, Liam and Petra entered the restaurant.
  • It was an upscale place, and the steak was excellent. But Petra was on the phone almost the entire time.
  • Liam, having been asleep for three years, found himself unable to enjoy the meal.
  • He had assumed that Nine Nymphs was just a dream, something that could never be real.
  • But when he heard Tyra's name, he started to realize things were more complicated than he thought.
  • "I'm full. Shall we head home?" Petra spoke up, barely having touched her food.
  • "Alright." Liam nodded.
  • They paid the bill and drove to Clearwater Residence.
  • It was a famous luxury riverside housing area in River City, where each apartment occupied an entire floor. With stunning river views and prices starting at 30 million.
  • Petra's home was on the top floor. The decor was elegant, complete with a master bedroom, guest rooms, a children's room, a study, and a gym.
  • "Liam, all your personal belongings are here. Go ahead and look around," Petra said as she led Liam to the master bedroom.
  • The air smelled faintly of a woman's perfume, and the bed was large, cozy, and not overly luxurious.
  • Liam nodded slightly and quickly found his phone.
  • Petra stepped out to take another call while Liam plugged in his phone and powered it up.
  • After that, he began searching for information about Tyra online.
  • Tyra was well-known in River City, and there were plenty of pictures of her online. The moment he saw one of them, Liam knew for sure.
  • "It really is her."
  • Liam's heart pounded wildly in his chest. He tried to calm down, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't.
  • He felt an overwhelming urge to go and find Tyra right away.
  • She was one of his partner Nymphs!
  • A dream lasting a thousand years turned into reality?
  • "Liam, my grandfather gave me two choices," Petra entered the room again, looking exhausted.
  • "I can either become Tyra's business partner or marry Philip.
  • "If I can't accomplish one of these two things, I'll be cast out of the Snowdens, and I'll lose everything."
  • Petra sighed, her face filled with worry. "Tomorrow, I'm going to the Mallins' banquet, hoping to change my luck, but honestly, my chances are slim. You ...
  • "Don't go tomorrow. Stay at home and wait for my news."
  • Her grandfather had specifically instructed her not to bring Liam to the banquet.
  • "You should take me with you. I can help convince Tyra to work with you," Liam said, finally calming himself. He decided to wait for just one more day.
  • Tomorrow at the banquet, he would meet Tyra again.
  • "Ms. Snowden, going alone means you're just relying on Philip's help, but unless you're willing to give yourself to him, he's not going to truly help you.
  • "The real decision-maker in this is Tyra. Bringing me along will make you stand out."
  • Seeing the disbelief on Petra's face, Liam continued, "I've been in a coma for three years, and I just woke up today. Tyra was in a coma for four years and woke up today as well. Don't you think she and I might feel a connection?
  • "And besides, you've stayed by your comatose boyfriend's side for three years. She'll definitely find that special. Bringing me along is your best shot at success."
  • A spark flashed in Petra's eyes.
  • She stared at Liam for a while before nodding firmly. "You've convinced me! I'll take you to the banquet tomorrow."
  • "Then it's settled."
  • Liam beamed, "I have some personal things to take care of. Oh! I'll be staying in the guest room; no need to call me for dinner."
  • "Alright," Petra replied and didn't think twice.
  • After all, Liam had been in a coma for three years, and wanting some time to himself was perfectly normal.
  • Liam went to the guest room. He closed the door behind him and sat cross-legged on the floor, beginning to cultivate.
  • In his dreams, he had been the most powerful figure in Etheria, a powerhouse at the Peak of the Zenith Phase.
  • However, he had not yet reached Level 1 of the meditation phase.
  • He needed to regain his strength—only then could he have confidence.
  • The next morning.
  • Liam's eyes snapped open. He exhaled a long breath, feeling refreshed.
  • He had reached Meditation Phase, Level 1.
  • It was a small step, but it meant he had truly entered the world of Spiritual Cultivation.
  • Though his strength was still low, he had stepped into the world of spiritual cultivation, which meant he was far stronger than any ordinary person in this world.
  • Liam got up and walked out of the guest room, only to find Petra yawning as she stepped out of her bedroom.
  • "Oh wow, look at that!"
  • Liam's eyes widened. The sexiness of Petra's sleepwear left little room for imagination.
  • "Arghh!"
  • Petra yelped in surprise and quickly retreated back into her room.
  • She had forgotten the presence of a man in the house and had been dressing casually, just as she would when she was alone.
  • Liam sighed in disappointment. His pretend wife wasn't as generous as he had hoped.
  • "Ms. Snowden, I'm heading out for a bit. We'll meet at the Mallin Estate tonight," Liam called out before turning to leave.
  • The campus belle was nice, but the Nymphs were better.
  • He still had some preparations to make before he could reunite with his Electra.
  • By 5:30 PM, the Mallin Estate was buzzing with activity.
  • High society had gathered, and the estate grounds were filled with luxury cars.
  • "Wow, the lives of the rich are something else," Liam remarked as he stepped out of a cab, marveling at the grandeur of the estate.
  • "Hey, honey, come meet me outside."
  • Liam texted Petra and waited at the entrance.
  • He couldn't get in without an invitation.
  • "Holy crap, is that who I think it is?"
  • A dramatic voice rang out, "Liam? Didn't a car hit you and put you in a coma?"
