• My mind wandered at an unsettling pace as I sip at the red wine in my hand in the jacuzzi. History is about to repeat itself and I can't afford to be the loser again. Killing them both I believed would bring me automatic power, but then there was Carlos, Escobars only brother. Although , he has no interest in ruling the underworld like his brother, but just like Salvatore, he is a very smart man. He held the position of his brother until his son Mateo come of age.
• Ever since Escobar's death, I have been building my alliances with the Morales's rivals especially in Mexico unbeknownst Mateo. I need to make the right connections for when I become lord—when Mateo dies. I have sent several hit men on many occasions to help terminate him, but it seems he is one lucky fellow that one. Till now, he didn't suspect that I was behind all of that, because all of the men I had sent either got killed by him or by me on failed mission. And fortunately, Guzman had to take the blame.
