• The memory of my blissful moment with Sebastian was cut short at the sight of him, Mateo. A swarm of shock wash over me as I saw that Mateo was already back from work before I arrived. I was only gone for three hours and I’d never imagined that the most beautiful three hours of my life since Mateo had decided to cut my off from the rest of the world will be cut short in less than a minute at the sight of his sudden appearance. And it made me want to believe that he’s got his eyes on my every move.
• I stood frozen and tried to respond to every of his questions with composure. My hands grip firmly on the box containing the vegetables, Agnes had instructed me to buy and that could literally be my only life saver at the moment. As he got closer, my gaze cast downward and I could only wish he doesn’t snatch the box from me, because that would literally be the end of me.
