Chapter 980 A Solitary Confrontation

• “She’s upstairs!” someone shouted.
• “Run up there and catch her…” Loud sounds of people shouting came from the hall downstairs as three to five men rushed in and charged up to where Ouyang Yan was. Since it was the Ouyang Residence, Ouyang Yan was a lot more familiar with the place than the rest of the men. The moment she rushed up onto the third floor, she quickly snuck into one of the rooms on the left. Ouyang Dan was the one who usually stayed in this room, but Ouyang Yan was familiar with it as well. She chose this room not because it was a good hiding spot, but because it had its own balcony inside. The balcony was connected to the rest of the rooms, so she could sneak out from there.
• The moment she ran out to the balcony, someone knocked their way through the door of the room. Ouyang Yan was shocked, so she frantically pulled a grenade out and threw it into the room. She might have been too anxious, for her aim was bad and the grenade bounced off the wall before rolling toward the corner of the bed. With a loud explosion, all the glass in the room shattered and Ouyang Yan screamed before she crouched down to protect herself.
