- Ace, Brodey and Jabrut studied the maps of the territory, city streets, and several of the small locations that surrounded the four Dark Crystal Towers. They were working on a strategy that would defeat the feral vampires the next time they arrived.
- "If we place a unit here, scatter the men and women there ... this will cover our blind spots!" Jabrut suggested as he pointed at the locations.
