• After four days of walking, the leader of the Shadow Warriors signalled with his hands for everyone to stop walking. Heading over to Margaret he informed her of what was about to happen. “Up ahead, not even a mile, is the entrance to the underground passageway. Only one of us will be leading you through the tunnels. The rest of us will be covering up the trails leading back to the capital.” He waited to see if Margaret had any questions, noticing that she had none, he continued. “We have other orders from Zane that need to be followed. I am sure that we will meet again, but if we don’t … it was a pleasure to meet you!”
• Margaret smiled sweetly, “We greatly appreciate you leading us here, as my husband would say, safe travels may the fates be kind to you!”
